Are you looking for a train from Thessaloniki Airport (SKG)? There is no train, metro, or rail station at the airport. Even the Thessaloniki Metro, which opened in late 2024, does not reach SKG. To travel by rail, you must first go to the New Railway Station (Stathmos Thessalonikis) in the city centre, about 13 km away. From there, you can take an intercity or regional train. The OSETH airport bus is the most economical way to reach the main railway station. Lines 1X (daytime) and 1N (overnight) run directly from the airport to the city centre, the New Railway Station, and the "Makedonia" KTEL coach station.
